A Mom Does It On The Cheap

I believe everyone has a talent. Something they are good at. Me. I can convince my kids and Scott I can?t hear them, even if we are in the same room. I can pour salsa on anything and make it taste decent. I can eat 30 almonds in one sitting and convince myself I just did something healthy. And I always have nipple covers in my drawer. But the one I am most proud of, the one that my kids will tell their kids about, is my talent of buying and wearing cheapish clothing that looks expensive.

And really, anyone can do it. It just takes a little time and research.  Check out my save vs. splurge picks.

Yes. This is super trendy but I have to say I bought this and can't wait to wear it with either sneakers or boots. I first saw the splurge one, but it's a look that can definitely be achieved on the cheap. This is $14.00 !!!!!!!

I have spend my whole life trying to look good in a coat like this. I just bought this the other day for my New York Thanksgiving. It gives me an Almost Famous vibe. And to be safe, just in case Scott looks at me funny, I only spent $59.90!

I think the reason these tops are still around is because they are super flattering. This isn't the lace-up top trend but same idea and only $17.90 from Forever 21.

Alexander Wang makes a great lace up top for $160.00. I tried it but my boobs popped out so much I would need to charge.

I could go on forever. There is tremendous satisfaction in finding great clothes at super low prices. That way I have plenty left over for salsa and nipple covers.
