Just because you are a mom doesn’t mean you don’t want to look great and sexy. It doesn’t mean you can’t obsess over the latest it bag, or make friends with someone at your favorite store to secure your perfect pair of jeans.

I try to explain to my husband that he should be happy I care so much. If anything, he should be thanking me for making such an effort to look good for him. Really, I should be mad at him for not thanking me enough.

So obviously, the natural progression for my site is to dedicate a page just to my favorite fashion finds. It’s like Pinterest, but we are excluding anyone with the bad taste not to read my site.

Enjoy. Contribute. I am always looking for the next great site, or t-shirt.

Right now I am going through a little bit of a house renovation. My closet gutted, I need to empty out everything, and now all of my clothes are literally spread around the house.

Imagine the sleepless nights. How am I going to enjoy the spring trends if I can?t even find a white tank top?

I obviously have to simplify my wardrobe temporarily, with focus only on the best most important trends for spring.

I love a perfect sweatshirt. This is not too boxy and has a bit of an edge. Wear this with jean cut offs or straight jeans.

Now girls. I avoided this trend for a long time. I actually don't love buying trendy things. But I wear my boyfriend jeans a lot. I keep the outfit simple. A basic tee or tank, maybe throw a blazer on. Rule I live by: Only one trendy item on at a time. More than one, you are trying too hard.

This is not necessarily a trend, but I love kimonos. Styled like the pic, or over a bikini, it gives any outifit that perfect boho look.

A difficult thing for a mom in her forties is recognizing her fashion limitations. In her mind, she is a young cute teenager who thinks Austin Butler is like sooo hot. In her mind, she totally wants to rock the cute cut-off rock tee with high waisted jean shorts that her baby sitter wears. But then her mind jolts back to reality when the check out guy at Hollister thinks this mom is a teacher at his high school.

Having said that, I still subscribe to a world where us moms can still rock the crop top trend. One caveat. We show just a little belly. Any more, and I expose my outy my kids bestowed upon me during pregancy. Any more, and we could be labeled desperate or sad. Any more, and you can’t bend over to pick anything up for risk of stomach fold.

This is the perfect way to execute the crop top trend. Cute and preppy, you are just showing a smidge.

This is another take on the trend. I love matching outfits like this. It's pretty and a little edgy.
