When I was in college, there was a big movement. It brought women together. We felt like a change was coming and we would never be the same again.

Of course I am referring to DKNY and the bodysuit movement. A snap around the crotch. Maybe we would even show the top of the bodysuit with our vintage Levis. But we would never be the same. I wore tank bodysuits, turtleneck bodysuits. Our choices were endless.

Then, out of nowhere, they were gone. I always wondered why. It’s such a fabulous concept. Worn alone, or under a blazer. With jeans, or a sexy straight skirt. It’s a great look.

And not expensive to incorporate. American Apparel is a perfect place to look for your bodysuit. An infinite amount of colors, crewneck, deep V, you name it. I just bought this one, wore it with pilazzo pants and an ancient black Theory blazer, and I could have had Scott feeding me strawberries on the floor like in 9 1/2 weeks.
