Previously, Olivia Palermo was best known for her dramatic role in MTV’s reality show the city. Now, everyone adores her for her amazing style and ability to mix super high end and affordable pieces. She loves sites like Topshop.

If you have followed my blog at all, you know that when a new season comes, I enjoy doing a little closet redecorating.  But I had a profound thought while driving the other day. Why do I rush through the blowpop to get the gum?  I mean I literally just start biting as soon as I get the wrapper off….

Wait, wrong thought.

I was going to say, I realized that I really don’t need to stress about shopping for the new season, because I don’t like to dress trendy, and the trends are recycled pretty much every three years, so I have the stuff anyway. (check out A Mom Shops Her Closet) I also realized that there are so many options online now, so many amazing sites and stores that carry great pieces for such reasonable prices, there is no need to break the bank.

So just for you I did a little web shopping and found things that we can all wear, we won’t look like we are trying to hard, and we will have money left over for tons of blowpops.

I’ve only shown you a few sites, but there are so many. Check out my other favorites like Zara and Pixie Market. Remember, not everything is going to be great on the sites. But use your good taste to weed through the merchandise and identify the basics.
